This group of enthusiasts meets on the morning of the last
Friday of the month. The group started life as the Model Railway
Group. Some of us have our own model layouts, in varying
stages of construction, or planning! Gradually we have
widened our areas of interest and the Group now covers all things railway from the full-scale real thing to N Gauge models.
In the winter months we mostly get together to look at DVDs on railway related subjects in each other’s homes and chat generally about railways, whilst in Spring, Summer and Autumn we like to visit heritage railways, model railway exhibitions and other places of railway interest. One of these this summer was to the South Devon Railway from Totnes to Buckfastleigh, individuals meeting at Tiverton Parkway to travel together.
