Our group meets in the morning of the second Thursday of the month, the usual time being 10.00am – 12pm noon(-ish).
We wish to keep the group as informal as possible and we meet either in a member’s house or go out & about taking photographs.
We have recently expanded the range of equipment allowed to include compact cameras, video, DSLR & phones – basically any image capturing device.
In terms of experience we are a diverse bunch with some using a camera for the first time & others arriving with a 35 mm background.
Some prefer video work, others like still images, sometimes shown as a slideshow with or without music.
At our meetings we look & comment on the photos taken the previous month & when appropriate try to help each other with any composition & technical issues.
